WARD Paddleboard Rental

Details and Important Information

WARD currently have 2 paddleboards available for hire by doctors working at University Hospitals Plymouth. Each can be booked for a maximum of 2 days during Mon-Thurs and 3 days over a weekend (Fri-Mon). HIRE EXAMPLES: • 1 day weekday hire, available Mon-Thu: e.g. collect 10am Wednesday morning and return no later than 10am Thursday. • 2-day weekday hire, available Mon-Thu (please note you will need to make a separate booking for each day): e.g. collect 10am Tuesday morning and return no later than 10am on Thursday morning. 2 days is the maximum number of weekdays you can rent for. • 3 day hire, available weekends only: Book for a Friday Hire - collect 10am Friday morning and return no later than 10am Monday.

Please note, PGMC are only storing these boards on behalf of WARD and therefore any questions, queries or concerns should be directed to the WARD reps at derriford@welldoctors.org

By renting the paddleboards, you are confirming you have read the waiver attached above in full and agree to its contents for yourself and your party from the point of collection until the paddleboard is returned to PGMC.

  • Collection of a board is at the PGMC, no earlier than 10am on the day of hire, and must be returned by 10am the day after your hire period. 

  • PGMC opening times are 0815 - 1645 Mon-Thurs and 0815-1630 Friday (closed weekends and bank holidays).

  • If the day you are due to return your paddleboard is a Bank Holiday, then your booking will be automatically extended to the next working day. 

  • Paddleboards must be returned on time and fully cleaned, ready for the next user to collect. 

  • You may be charged for any damage to or loss of any part of this equipment (paddleboard, paddle, leash, bag etc.).
