About the Event
As part of our Leadership Series, we are welcoming Nelson Derry to UHP talk around leadership themes of inclusive, high performing leaders.
Nelson is a People and Organisational Culture Expert with significant experience leading global transformations that unlock performance in organisations and their teams through adopting high performing habits and behaviours, and building cultures on foundations of trust, purpose and inclusion.
An award-winning executive he has been recognised by the Financial Times and EMPower as one of the Top 30 U.K. and US Future Leaders for contributions to workplace inclusion. He is the author of ‘Rise of the 2020 Leader - Entering a new era of Trust, Purpose and Inclusion’ - featured as an Amazon Bestseller for Leadership & Business Management.
His thoughts on leadership and articles have been featured across several article publications and is a regular speaker and storyteller at company events and industry conferences on the topics of high performing teams, organisational culture, leadership and inclusion. He has delivered talks and keynote addresses at organisations and industry forums - a few examples include: The Financial Times Europe Moral Money Summit, D&I Global Leaders Forum, The Chartered Institute for Personal Development (CIPD), Microsoft, Deloitte and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation.
An experienced company executive, Nelson serves as a Board member of Triathlon England and is a Board Trustee for the charity arm of Middlesex County Cricket team. He most recently served as the Global Head of Culture and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Aesop responsible for driving a company-wide strategy around Aesop’s People Commitments including culture transformation, Inclusion, engagement and well-being.
Prior to joining Aesop, Nelson led the Global Organisational Culture Practice at North Highland serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and supporting them with their Culture & DE&I transformation agendas. Previously Nelson spent a decade at Goldman Sachs in a variety of leadership roles including Head of Strategy and Change within the European asset management business as well as leading several operations teams
