CCrISP is a two-day, interactive course (including mandatory, pre-course e-learning) covering the practical skills and knowledge needed to look after surgical patients including those who are deteriorating or at risk of doing so.

About the Event
Please Note: In order to register and book a place on the course you do require registration with the Royal College of Surgeons (registration is free) Please go to: https://www.rcseng.ac.uk/register/ to register and obtain a registration number which needs to be added to your booking form.
This course is most suitable for CT1-2 and SAS grades.
Senior trainees are also welcome to attend a CCrISP course if they have not done so before.
Please note that FY1 trainees are not eligible to attend this course and should attend the START course instead. FY2 trainees are also not permitted to attend until they reach the final 2 months of their placement (June/July). FY2 trainees should be aware that the course has been designed specifically for CTs so they may find the face-to-face sessions challenging. All participants should take care to prepare as thoroughly as possible for the best chance of passing the course.
